OOC: Talking about the addition of a few voyager tech items.

ON:

The Admiral was looking out again over the vastness of space, the skeletal frames of dry docks cradling ships in various stages on construction, but one of two specific drydocks had Jarred's attention, on the right was his own flagship undergoing yet another overhaul, the aging Ambassador Class ship had been in service since the early 2360's and was into it's fourth decade, it had changed somewhat in appearance since it's last overhaul, the hull had additional plating installed to protect once vulnerable areas, along with a few…

Mission: Match sticks and Gasoline
Posted on Sun Mar 8th, 2026 @ 10:30pm by Captain Jason Elliot & Varris Elliot

On:

The Elliot family, a term that would have seemed strange a few years ago, uncertain a few months ago and now i seemed like an odd moment, Jason pulled a bowl of oatmeal out of the replicator, the coffee appeared a second later. Sehla who was siting at the table attempting too eat her breakfast, Varris raced in from the master bedroom stealing the coffee out of Jason's hand gulping down a large mouthful.

"Sorry...Human coffee is normally very weak, why isn't this one?" She asked

"Espresso roast if it's not brewed right it tastes like ashes, glad you're…

Mission: Match sticks and Gasoline
Posted on Mon Dec 22nd, 2025 @ 6:38am by Lieutenant Eira Cortez & Lieutenant Hamlyn Ambrose

ON:

The Columbia was in repairs and the crew was on a short shoreleave until they were assigned to a new ship, which meant that Eira had plenty of time to do what she wanted. Whether it meant spend it back on Earth seeing some sights or spending it with Lieutenant Ambrose.

He was the anomaly in her life at the moment. A casual conversation turned into a couple of drinks that led to a fun night that turned into an actual proper date and so on and so forth. Now they'd been seeing each other exclusively for the last…

Mission: Match sticks and Gasoline
Posted on Mon Dec 1st, 2025 @ 9:17pm by Rear Admiral Jarred Wallace & Commander Jorel Torin II

On:

The day had been off to a slow start even by the Admirals' standards, he'd been flagged down by one of a number of assistants he seemed to have at the moment that Commander Torin wanted to talk, he like the younger officer and made an effort to talk with him despite his busy schedule, as he walked from one part of the station's offices too the other he caught a glimpse of the officer, "Commander Torin!" he called out.

Jorel stood up with PADD in hand as he walked into the Admiral's office. He didn't want to look…

Mission: Match sticks and Gasoline
Posted on Sun Oct 26th, 2025 @ 5:34pm by Captain Jason Elliot & Varris Elliot

On:

The transport ship slid into it's berth at Starbase five, it's lone passenger looked out the porthole as the gangplank airlock engaged, the hiss of the door sliding open. Jason stepped out a single bag over his good shoulder, his left arm was still in a sling from the accident aboard Columbia. He walked at a slowed pace towards the exit he saw two figures standing at the end of the walk way. The two figures became clearer as he approached, Commander Jordan 'Howie' Horowitz and a woman that looked familiar, as he got closer it finally dawned on…

"Lieutenant junior-grade, Pharos Ventari, Personal log."

A heavy sigh as the Rechakan rested his forehead on the desk, before continuing, sounding slightly muffled.

"I made it. Two transports, a shuttle, and a two hundred year old warp sled that should have been decommissioned a century ago; two hundred and twelve hours of travel time, but I managed to catch up with the Columbia. I feared the orders might have been a mistake, that my assignment here had been in error, but they verified my orders, confirmed my identity, and let me onboard anyway. If it's a mistake, I'm not sorry…

“The Columbia has set sail.. and is underway to Campor III. Our crew really pulled together to launch in a matter of days. It normally takes closer to two weeks.”

“Lieutenant Commander Chalan Kendri has been absolutely invaluable to the ship, our crew and myself. There have been times when I ask the computer to locate the Commander, when I’m trying to reach her… Almost every single time, she’s been meeting with one person or another.”

“After meeting with several senior officers, we decided we will push through the Mutara Nebula. Lieutenants F’Rar, Lyngstad,…

» The Distance Between a First Officer

Posted on Sat Aug 5th, 2023 @ 3:33am by Commander Chalan Kendri

First Officer's Personal Log, Mission Day 12, 2300 hours.

One thing I didn't anticipate when making the jump from Second Officer to First Officer when taking this position was the distance that it would put between me and the rest of the senior staff, much less the rest of the crew. Perhaps it's just because we're still a new crew and getting to know one another, but in my last two postings the senior staff was comfortable using familiar names with one another almost immediately. Maybe it's all in my mind, but I'm sensing some resistance to that, and it's…

Dear Bradley, it has been a year since I was posted to Department Head school. I feel well educated now, more than ever before. I feel ready to take command of a Science division aboard ship.

After eight years on the Wayans and eight years at Starbase 51, getting a real assignment seems like a dream. I haven't had a chance to review who else is on the crew, but I will get to that soon.

I feel like a new chapter is starting in my life. I feel like I am about to embark on a great adventure. Being…
